Why are they trying to learn to speak
in English? Some people say that we



can live easily if we can communicate
in English, but some say that studying



English is useless. There are advantages
and disadvantages to studying



English.

±×µéÀÇ ±¹Àû°ú °ü·Ã ¾øÀÌ ¿µ¾î¸¦ °øºÎÇÏ°í ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ±×µéÀº ¿Ö ¿µ¾î·Î ¸»ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» ¹è¿ì·Á ÇÒ±î¿ä? ¸î¸îÀÇ »ç¶÷µéÀº ¿µ¾î·Î ÀÇ»ç¼ÒÅëÀÌ °¡´ÉÇÏ´Ù¸é »îÀÌ ÆíÇØÁú °ÍÀ̶ó ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. ±×·¯³ª

One advantage is that people who can speak in English are needed by the world.
Because most people think English is the first language that people commonly use
in the world. For example, every important conventions and meetings like G20 is
held in English, and many mass media want to broaden their news in English to spread
it to world. So people who can speak in english are in demanded by many companies
regardless of their countries, and they can live conveniently and acquire
higher position than the others who can not speak in English.

Moreover, people who can speak in English have more opportunities to succeed
in their lives. For instance, many Korean universities require high score in English
subject. The name of university often to better chances of getting a job. Furthermore,
many companies respect employees who are good at speaking English. Also, businessman
wanting his business offshore must know how to speak in English. So these
things tell us why studying English is very important in our lives to succeed.

¿¹¸¦ µé¸é ¸¹Àº Çѱ¹ÀÇ ´ëÇб³µéÀÌ ³ôÀº ¿µ¾îÁ¡¼ö¸¦ ¿ä±¸ÇÏ°í ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.

 However, there are also some disadvantages to studying
English. First, for a person whose first language is not English, it requires
them lots of effort, time and money to accomplish it. Korean people start learning
English when they are 3'd grade in elementary school. They really spent a lot of
money and time on studying English compared to the students of other countries,
but there is no guarantee that they can really master English even though they try.

 Also, to study English is useless sometimes.
Many people are forced to study despite the fact that they do not need to do that.
For example, teachers grade their students who want to draw or sing according to
English score. Those students are pressed to study English although they are busy
developing their talent. It is a waste of time, definitely.



 ¶ÇÇÑ ¿µ¾î¸¦ °øºÎÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ ¶§·Î´Â ºÒÇÊ¿äÇÒ ¼ö°¡ ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ¸¹Àº »ç¶÷µéÀº ±×µéÀÇ »î¿¡ ¿µ¾î°¡ Å©°Ô ÇÊ¿ä ¾øÀ½À» ¾Ë°íµµ ¿µ¾î °øºÎ¸¦ ¾ïÁö·Î Çϱ⵵ ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

In conclusion, there are advantages and disadvantages to studying English.
People are in demand worldwide if they can speak in English, and there are more
possibilities to make a bright life. However, it requires people lots of time and
money, also, sometimes to study English is useless in their lives.
